Multifuncional insulation product
Benarx Cellular Glass XP provides fire, thermal, and acoustic insulation for pipelines. The combination of cellular glass material's thermal insulation and the expanding epoxy material's fire protection properties is designed to withstand the most challenging hydrocarbon and jet fire scenarios for up to 180 minutes.
The product can be supplied with air-gap spacers on the inside, providing excellent water drainage and corrosion under insulation (CUI) suppression. In addition to fire protection, Benarx Cellular Glass XP also offers thermal and acoustic insulation.
Application
Benarx Cellular Glass XP can be used for passive fire protection, acoustic insulation, and is also designed to reduce CUI (especially when ordered with spacers). The product also insulates and can be used in combination classes with thermal insulation and passive fire protection.
Benarx Cellular Glass XP can be used without additional insulation on pipes with operating temperatures between -20°C and 120°C. Additional insulation thickness can be added internally for temperatures outside this temperature range. Contact Beerenberg for calculation of the required heat insulation thickness.
