Robots can perform many different jobs, which offer benefits both in terms of time consumption and HSE. In this job, Beerenberg used a robot to remove 64 square meters of tire coating.
Advantages of using robots:
- Execution time 2 days, including stoppage due to container loading from supply vessel, and only 2 POB
HSE:
- Vacuum collection of waste sucked directly into the waste container
- No vibrations for performing personnel
- The design of the robot reduces the risk of other injuries to personnel. The beam in the chamber is directed straight down to the tire, with no possibility of deviation
- Significantly reduced noise, particularly beneficial for this job close to the residential area
