Beerenberg is continuously working to better the security and well-being for the people involved in our projects. Similarly our products and methods should be as gentlest for the environment as possible.

Beerenberg believes that all wounds and work-related illnesses or ailments, as well as damage to materials, environment and reputation can be prevented. We therefore view our HSE work as a necessary long term contribution to the company´s economy, reputation and future growth. This work also means an indispensable requirement to quality, and a focus which permeates everything we do.

  1. HSE Policy

    It is Beerenberg’s ambition to prevent its employees from suffering work-related illness and injury and to promote a working environment that is health promoting and meaningful for all employees.

    Beerenberg’s vision – Beyond Expectations – commits the company and all its employees to seek out solutions that exceed the expectations of those around us. Our HSE practices should be Inclusive, Innovative and Responsible.

    Our HSE policy involves:

    • Adopting a risk-based approach that takes into account external and internal context in a responsible manner
    • Continually seeking improvements through concrete and verifiable HSE targets
    • Sustaining focus on preventing occupational injury and work-related illness
    • Learning from incidents by continually improving our work processes
    • Conducting surveys and taking measures with the aim of reducing working environment risk to a minimum
    • Enabling training and skills development in the areas of health and the working environment
    • Complying with the provisions of working environment law, ISO 45001:2018 and the company’s own HSEQ management system
    • Clear areas of responsibility and authority in relation to HSE amongst managers and employees
