Beerenberg awarded contracts for Statoil
The oilservice company Beerenberg is awarded a four year maintenance contract for the offshore installations Gullfaks A, Gullfaks B, Gullfaks C, Grane, Kvitebjørn and Visund. The maintenance contract also contains an optional 2+2 years extention.
To win contracts for Statoil in this tendering process is very important for Beerenberg. Along with other signed contracts in 2010, the company is continuing its activity level in the same way as today, CEO Morten Walde says. Due to this tendering process, our activity level on Statoil’s onshore installations is expected to be slightly reduced in the future. This tendering process does not include the onshore gas installation at Kårstø, and the offshore installation Draupner. On these sites, Beerenberg will continue as Statoils collaborator.
